Norway: During the Annual Export Conference, Cambi was awarded the Export Prize 2019. Cambi was declared the winner in competition with 70 leading Norwegian companies. The nominees were judged based on their global turnover, export share in turnover, profitability over time, value creation in Norway and level of product/ market innovation.

John G. Bernander, the jury leader, handed the prize mentioning that Cambi’s solutions “represent the circular economy in practice. Their research and development focused on sustainability, forward-looking innovation and economic growth over time, make the company a worthy winner of the Export Prize 2019”. The Minister of Business Affairs, Torbjørn Røe Isaksen, added that “Cambi’s solutions are not only relevant for business, but also have an important impact on the environment. I am impressed by what Cambi has achieved in countries such as China, the United States and Singapore”.

Cambi’s CEO, Per Lillebø, is honored by the prize and sees it as acknowledgement of the trust Cambi has built with clients all over the world, who repeatedly entrust us with contracts in highly competitive public tenders. Cambi has ambitious plans for growth in the years to come.

The Export Conference is organized every year by Export Credit Norway, GIEK (Guarantee Institute for Export Credit), GIEK Credit Insurance and Innovation Norway. The conference brings together Norway’s main exporters to discuss about challenges and successful approaches for Norwegian companies selling on the global market.
