India: WQIA (Water Quality India Association) is organizing its 10th meeting at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi today.
The event began with a welcome address by Sunil Trivedi, current President of WQIA. The Chief Guest of the event is Anil Jauhri, who addressed the gathering about “Standards and Conformity Assessment”, which is to be followed by a presentation on the “Global Drinking Water Treatment Industry Scenario and Market Access by Tom Palkon from IAPMO.
The event is scheduled from 9.30 AM to 5 PM at the Juniper Hall in the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Smart Water & Waste World Magazine is the official and exclusive Media Partner of the event.

WQIA is the only national body in India working towards the cause Water Quality. It represents the Indian Industry while reaching out to Government of India on various issues including quality standards, tax regulations, legal issues etc. It also ties up with organsations like IAPMO and IPSC to provide services to the Industry. It is represented by members from across the country and is growing from strength to strength.
