Global: Aquatech is set to launch a new, live event series that is set to shake up the traditional and overcrowded webinar circuit. Called BreakOuts, the event series will feature engaging, live panel discussions with industry thought leaders.
It’s time to Break Out from convention
The format is informal, engaging, and short (max 1 hour) and aiming to be the perfect break of your workday. Taking place on May 26th at 16:00 pm – 17:00 pm (CEST), the first live event is expected to attract a crowd of up to 500 delegates. Bridging the themes of innovation and digitalization from the physical Aquatech events, the online discussion will kickstart with utilities, European partnerships and global engineering thought leaders from across Europe and the Middle East.

All-Star Panel Bridges Physical to Online Events
Centered around audience interaction, BreakOuts will answer the question of ‘How will water innovation look in a landscape radically shaken and transformed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic?’
The panel will include:
Moderator: Tom Freyberg, Content Director, Aquatech Global Events, UK
Julia Braune, General Manager, German Water Partnership, Germany
Meriem Riadi, Chief Digital Officer, SUEZ Group, France
Jesper Kjelds, Chief Digital Officer, Aarhus Vand, Denmark
Yossi Yaacoby, VP of Engineering, Mekorot, Israel
As water continues to be a critical service to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus, digital solutions have become essential monitoring and communication tools for water companies around the world. The panel will address how engineering projects are continuing, without face-to-face interaction as well as digitalization: what’s in the pipeline?
Annette Bos, Director Water, said: “We believe in the power of bringing people together and want to continue that with BreakOuts. Aquatech Online is a global hub for water professionals, driven by likable, shareable, and engaging content. The live event series will augment our strong online presence with regular, interactive discussions on key topics.”
