DuPont Water Solutions, sponsor of the Global Water Awards, will lead discussions on creating a clean-water future.
Spain: DuPont Water Solutions, among the world’s largest water technology companies, will have a leading role at the Global Water Summit 2022.
This flagship annual industry event in Madrid, Spain from May 16 to 18, brings together key decision-makers in the water industry for strategic discussions and networking, alongside the presentation of the Global Water Awards.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Water Positive, Zero Carbon’, with a debate focused on the link between energy and water and how collaborative efforts throughout the supply chain can reduce carbon emissions.
Alan Chan, Global Vice President and General Manager at DuPont Water Solutions will address delegates during a plenary session on the second day of the conference. Contributing to “A Sectoral Plan for the Decarbonisation of Water”, Alan will emphasize the importance of collaboration in realizing the vision for a net-zero industry. He will demonstrate how DuPont Water Solutions is already working with organizations across the world to deliver a clean water future, bringing together market-leading technologies and innovative approaches in water management to create sustainable water and wastewater treatment solutions.
The winners of the Global Water Awards will be announced at a gala dinner on the evening of the first day of the conference (May 17). This year, DuPont Water Solutions is sponsoring this coveted awards program, which for over a decade has been celebrating excellence and innovation in the water industry. Alan Chan, Global Vice President and General Manager at DuPont Water Solutions, will be the opening speaker at the dinner.
“We are committed to working alongside colleagues across the water industry to realize our vision of a clean-water future,“ said Alan Chan, Global Vice President and General Manager at DuPont Water Solutions. “Each year, the Global Water Summit brings together some of the greatest minds from our industry for creative discussions about how we can collaborate to tackle current and emerging challenges.”
“It is essential that we continue to take the steps necessary to safeguard precious natural water resources and increase access to clean and healthy water for communities across the globe. As we do this we must strive for greater synergy between water use and energy consumed. I’m looking forward to presenting and discussing a roadmap to ensure a clean water future within a water-optimized world. While there is hope, there is also much more to do and we must seize opportunities to look at the experience of other industries as we establish our plans.”
