India: Jal Jeevan Mission is one of the most ambitious programs announced by the Government of India to provide piped water supply to every rural household by 2024. Grundfos India, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technology, was the Gold sponsor on ‘Jal Jeevan Mission: Emerging Partnership Opportunities’ conference being hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industries’ (CII) today.
Ranganath N.K., Grundfos India’s Water Ambassador chaired and moderated the inaugural session during the conference.
This conference had participation from the senior center, state governments, and Jal Jeevan Mission officials, experts, and industry leaders from the water sector (Technology and Water Solution Providers).
Given Grundfos India’s strong alignment to the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goal (SDG) 6 that focuses on water, the company is supporting this virtual interactive conference. Grundfos says that it also believes that strong partnerships, smart technology, and educated customers are essential to be able to bring water to remote or rural areas.
Addressing the session ‘Jal Jeevan Mission: Scope and Opportunities for Industry Partnership’, Saravanan Panneer Selvam, General Manager, INDO Region, Grundfos said, “Grundfos is committed to the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goal (SDG) 6 that focuses on water and this aligns perfectly with Jal Jeevan Mission.
