India: Vital Capital Environment has announced that together with its partners SNC and SPML, it has been awarded the Raichur Rural Water Distribution project by RDWSD, State Government of Karnataka in India.
The project will be carried out in 2.5 years, followed by 5 years of O&M (Operations & Maintenance). This is estimated to be one of the largest projects of its kind in the country.
This important infrastructure is expected to create a real impact by treating and supplying 160 Million Litres per Day (MLD) of water to 1,406 villages in the district, benefiting more than 1.7 million people.
VCE officials say that they are grateful to the Government of Karnataka for prioritizing this significant project and trusting them to implement it. It intends to deliver the project with world-class standards.
