“Should we devote just one day a year to the environment?
During the lockdown I could take my pet dog out for a few minutes, and I noticed a street plant that seemed to be dying. It was the midst of summer, the heat was scorching. I decided to take a bottle of water during the pet walking, and we watered the plant everyday, even touching it gently and asking it to take care of itself. Lo and behold, after a week I was delighted to see the plant shad prouted 2 leaves, the next day it was 4 leaves, then 8. And, today it is a thriving little tree.
Just a little thought and gesture go a long way indeed!
Greetings on World Environment Day.”
